Tokai drama studio is great fun on Tuesday afternoons

For children who live in the Bergvliet/Steenberg and Tokai region of Cape Town, there are fantastic classes at the Tokai Library on Tuesday afternoons run by our wonderful teacher, Catherine Scott. Classes develop speech, performance movement and acting skills. The world famous drama curriculum is also renowned for its development of communication skills.

What better way to spend your afternoon than in the company of Scott Cooper our wonderful teacher

Children from Star of the Sea Convent School in Cape Town have such fun every Tuesday afternoon with Scott and the international curriculum of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy. The programme runs its famous after-school programme at the school and children learn the techniques to become good communicators and effective actors.

Fantastic letter from one of our students!

Dear Helen O'Grady Drama Academy,

I am now moving on and leaving this amazing Drama Academy, where I have practically grown up. You have had an impact on my life, and I am so sad I have to leave. I have to write you a letter of thanks of how much gratitude I have towards you. Thanks for the free lessons in my hard times. It meant so much. Helen O'Grady will always remain in my life and carry on with me.

Edgemead Speech and Drama Classes at the Scout Hall, next to Edge Church

Samantha, our spectacular teacher of our Edgemead Studio, always has great fun with the students each week. Children and high school students from the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy learn communication and performance skills which develop overall confidence and speaking ability for future success in life. Students from ages 5-18 can attend these classes in different age-groups. Classes are always great fun and everyone follows our international drama curriculum developed over 30 years internationally.
