Camps Bay Drama Studio puts on two spectacular plays

Parents from the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy’s Camps Bay drama studio absolutely loved this year’s performances of ‘The Hare and the Tortoise’ by our youngest children and the ‘Curse of the Pharaohs’ by our Upper Primary class.


The plays were staged at the Magnet Theatre in Observatory, and these young professionals just looked amazing on the stage in their costumes. Their amazing teacher, Julian, took them to the next level of their development, and as a result the children had such fun on the stage.

The Academy’s international programme was developed to bring out the best in children’s natural ability. Very quickly you can see the difference this wonderful programme makes in children. Most notably self-esteem is increased, overall confidence is enhanced and communication skills become strong.

 The Helen O’Grady is one of the largest drama schools in Cape Town with over 3,500 children attending classes every week this year.



We are proud of their achievements and their development this year.  Camps Bay children are the richer for having this amazing programme in their area.
