Inspirational Drama programme for High School Students - Our St Joseph's College students show why at their annual production
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy at St Joseph's Marist College in Cape Town aims to develop High School students in acting using its advanced performance curriculum. Debbie Robertson is their amazing teacher who has really, over the course of the year, taken them to the next level in their theatrical development. Their play 'Freaky Creatures' was utterly amazing with fantastic character acting and incredible comic timing by all the actors. We were very proud of all of them.
What is more, these young people have always shown great enthusiasm during classes, developing in fantastic improvisational skills. Because their characters were so convincing, and their comic timing so good, the audience was laughing all the way through. This was a wonderful end to our evening.
