Helen O'Grady Drama Academy develops lively and creative performers - watch our Camps Bay children perform in 'How the lion got its roar'

There is always a breakthrough when children perform in the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy's productions.  Children as young as five start to experience the joy of communicating to a large audience and love the experience. This is part of developing confidence in children and by doing so they will be set up for the rest of their lives.

Camps Bay Lower Primary children performed in the most magnificent play for parents and friends at the Magnet Theatre. Directed by Heleen van Eck, their amazing teacher, the children really have shown great enthusiasm and presence on the stage. They sang, acted and danced their hearts out on stage. 

The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy has been running its international drama programme at St Peter's Church Hall, on Park Avenue in Camps Bay for many years. These highly popular speech and drama classes aim to bring out the best in all the children using an international drama curriculum.

Classes operate on Tuesdays at the following times:

Ages 5-8 (Grades R-3)    3-4 pm
Ages 9-13 (Grades 4-7)  4-5 pm
