Fish Hoek Helen O'Grady Drama Academy Upper Primary class shows what a cohesive group of actors they are!
Wonderful performance of 'Jetlag Tours' at the Magnet Theatre performed by our Upper Primary group from Fish Hoek. The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is so pleased to have these wonderful actors in our Academy and our brilliant teacher, Liande, who brought out the best in all these kids.
It is so thrilling to see children performing with such confidence on the stage and with clear powerful acting voices. Their ability to take on characters and sustain them was most encouraging and as they continue through the Academy we know we will have some future young stars.
The Academy runs its international drama programme at the MOTH Hall next to the Library in Fish Hoek and our classes over the years have been extremely popular. Most of our children end up taking the lead roles in their school plays because of the extension in the work we do. Likewise, our children tend to do extremely well in all communication aspects of school work including languages and public speaking competitions.
