The performance of our Upper Primary Rondebosch drama class at the Magnet Theatre in Observatory, Cape Town, was outstanding. Brilliant costumes and character acting by these amazing children showed that these children have developed quite amazing performance arts skills under the direction of their teacher, Dana.
The Rondebosch speech and drama classes have been running at the St Thomas' Church Hall next to the entrance to Bishops Senior School for many years. Countless children owe their confidence in communication to the Academy and its international drama curriculum which aims to bring out all that is good in a child.
The Academy runs in Rondebosch at the following times on Tuesdays:
Grades R-3 (Ages 5-8) 3-4 pm
Grades 4-6 (Ages 9-12) 4-5 pm
Youth Theatre on Mondays for High School Students:
5-6 pm
