The Academy has been running its international speech and drama classes in Bonteheuwel for many years at the Bonteheuwel Library Hall. We are very proud of the strong tradition of actors developing from this group. Such wonderful children with an amazing creative flair on stage. This is thanks to their fabulous teacher, Sue Wigham, who always brings out the best in each and every child.
The Academy's programme which aims to develop confidence, self-esteem, communication and performance skills has always been popular as the parents realise the immense value of training the children how speak articulately and participate in life with enthusiasm.
To be confident on the stage is a fantastic life-skill that the children will carry with them into adulthood.
The production at the Magnet Theatre was quite spectacular and the parents were astounded at the progress of these children.
