Advanced acting skills from our Windsor High School drama students at the Magnet Theatre in Cape Town

One of the best places to learn the skills to become an effective communicator is on the stage. The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy believes in giving as many children as possible the opportunity to develop good communication skills through the teaching of performances arts. Here you can see our wonderful students from our afternoon club at Windsor High School performing at the Magnet Theatre in Cape Town.

The Academy's vice-principal, Sunette Strydom teaches these classes on Thursday afternoons after school and we have seen a huge development in these children over the past few years that they have been with us. Research shown that children who attend after school drama classes are more likely to achieve academically and stand a greater chance to get further employment owning the the confidence in communication which is required by many employers.

Their performance under Sunette's wonderful direction was quite outstanding and show brilliant character acting as well as improvisation. These talent young performers will go far!
