To express oneself clearly is one of the keys to success in life - Herschel Prep shows this in their production of 'Storyland'

The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy's international programme at Herschel Preparatory School in Cape Town is not only just about performance arts, but also teaching children how to communicate with confidence. The children from the Grade 6 class who performed 'Storyland' showed just how effective this training is in developing confident, vibrant children.

Under the direction of Sunette Strydom, our vice principal and their teacher, Nastassja Schroeder, these wonderful children performed the most spectacular production at the Herschel Theatre. Excellent characterisation and beautifully crystal clear voices, these children took communication to another level.

The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is one of the largest drama schools in the world with over 3000 children attending classes in Cape Town alone. As a creative arts organisation, the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is at the forefront of innovation and as in this play 'New Ideas' are constantly being added to the international curriculum to make this as stimulating as possible for all the children involved.
