Our drama classes in Hout Bay are on Mondays for two different age-groups:
Grade 1-3 3-4 pm
Grades 4-7 4-5 pm
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is an international programme which focuses on developing children's confidence in communication skills and of course creative performance arts throughout Cape Town. The Academy has been running its programme for many years in Hout Bay and we are proud of the achievements with these students.
Just today we were informed that one of the children from our classes on Mondays, Georgia, won the Hout Bay's Got Talent competition in the conclusion of the Hout Bay Festival. Regularly we hear about the fine achievements that this programme encourages.
Not only do our children achieve in the performance line but equally in their school work. One of our children also recently received top marks for her oral presentation at school.
Drama can only enhance children's achievements and we are proud of the contributions our programme makes to the children of Hout Bay.
