There is a direct correlation between children learning to enjoy themselves and their self-esteem. At the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy we showed just how this works.
Many of our younger children who start at age five sometimes lack the confidence to speak out or communicate what they are feeling but this programme very quickly trains children in a proactive way to communicate effectively. One of the biggest frustrations of children is to not be able to express the thoughts in their head in language. Very quickly this programme gives the skill and language base for children to be able to speak out how they feel.
Here you can see our children in action with our teachers and Principal training at our Camps Bay drama classes. We had visitors from Lagos Islands in Nigeria participating with the children.
