Opera? Can children do opera? The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy's Winter HolidayMusical Stage School proves the point! And the programme is fully booked yet again!
It is important that children are trained in the love of the arts. The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy's stimulating holiday stage school trains children in musical theatre and each year tackles a particular theme. This year's winter skill-based holiday programme focuses on the theme of Opera. Children will be learning and gaining an understanding in Opera and how it works in a fun way.
The Academy believes in making Opera accessible to children and this programme gives children an understanding in the acting and major themes of some of the world's most popular operas followed by the dance which incorporates some of the major dances from famous operas, and of course the singing which will help them to understand how to sign opera in today's world.
Here you can see photos of the children dancing, singing and acting with our expert teachers.
