The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy has been running its Musical Stage Schools for many years in Cape Town to develop children in dance, singing and acting. The Academy does not believe in dumbing down its curriculum but rather given children a broad-based experience of the performance arts.
Taught by expert teachers in their respective fields, children learn not only how to sing, dance and act on the stage but also learn valuable skills of communication and cooperation.
This years holiday programme has seen children as young as 5 and as old as 18 develop a unique relationship that only the performance arts can give as they collaborate on a worthwhile and creative project.
