Clever play writing to bring the best in speaking and language at the French School

The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy in Cape Town has a great team of writers who develop plays to bring out the best in all children. Beth Daniel, who is now Principal of North Leicestershire Helen O'Grady drama school, was one of the playwrights who worked with the Academy on these magnificent productions.

The clever way in which these plays are written means that each and every child has a main part to play!

'How the Lion got its Roar' is a wonderful tale set in Africa starting in an African village and then heading out on to the Savannah Grassland where the animals hatch a plan to give Lion his roar. It was beautifully acted by these youngsters and the direction by our teacher, Anastacia Isaacs, was superb!

The Academy runs its productions in many schools around Cape Town! For more information about our drama school, contact our Head Office on 021 6747478 or find out more by going to www.dramaaafrica.com
