The audience was absolutely mesmerised by the stunning
performance of ‘Storyland’ by the Grade 6 class at Bergvliet Primary School.
Spectacular acting and lively clearly drawn characters had the audience in
stitches of laughter.
The Helen O’Grady Drama Academy has been running its
international drama programme for many years at the School and the consequence
of this is that students are very confident when speaking in public and on
stage.
Being able to project your voice and stand on a stage with
confidence is an extremely important life-skill which can be easily taught. The
Bergvliet Primary children will go far because the schools strong belief in
developing the performance arts in children.
