The autistic unit of Glenbridge Special School perform a magnificent 'No More Meat!' - a mime-to-music!

Teaching children mime is a huge part of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy's curriculum. Mime to music really does stimulate children's creativity and teaches them to use their bodies as a creative tool. The Autistic Unit at Glenbridge Special School in Cape Town really have been inspired by this in the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy's International programme. They showed really good understanding of how to use their bodies to show dramatic meaning with their fabulous teacher, Anastacia Isaacs.

Developing children with special needs is one of the great strengths of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy's international programme. Children are taught in a very proactive way and therefore good communication skills develop as a result.
