Developing acting skills is at the heart of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy in Cape Town. And, under the direction of Heleen, their teacher, these children really showed advanced skills in performance. The Academy prides itself in the positive development of children and all our teachers, using the international curriculum of the Academy, aims to tap into the natural talent of the students.
These drama classes also focus on communication skills and children are taught to become articulate speakers as well as using their bodies as a communication tool. Classes are held on Wednesday afternoons at the Presbyterian Church Hall on Central Square in Pinelands.
We are always proud of these children who work with such respect and understanding for each other, and therefore their performances are always sensitive and thoughtful. Thanks to all these children and their wonderful teacher, Heleen, for being as always so special!
