Newlands Saturday drama classes for our primary children pull off a fantastic production of 'Paradesia' at the Magnet Theatre
Well done to the children of our Newlands drama classes who acted in the most amazing play, 'Paradesia' on Saturday at the Magnet Theatre. Debbie Robertson, their wonderful teacher, really inspired these young children to achieve such confidence and poise on stage.
The Academy's international programme aims to develop confidence, self-esteem, communication and acting skills in children. As a performance arts institution, our prime aim is to develop children naturally and with much positive reinforcement. We always want the children to enjoy their experience on stage and learn the skills of improvisation and spontaneity through our acting courses for children. What is more children naturally build their self-esteem through this experience.
