Wow, what a spectacular performance by a group of children with exceptional talent. Our children from the Camps Bay drama studio thrive on their drama thanks to their brilliant teacher, Heleen. Over the course of this year these enthusiastic children have gained full benefit from the Academy's international drama programme, showing their skills in communication and performance.
Beautiful songs and rowdy pirates really created a wonderful atmosphere in the Magnet Theatre and the applause at the end of the play was well deserved.
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy has been running its classes for many years now and next year, the school will start its famous Youth Theatre programme for High School students as many of our Upper Primary children will be graduating into our next group. The Youth Theatre curriculum continues the developmental skills but also focuses on acting for film, television, radio and theatre.
