Children from the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy in Rondebosch perform a wonderful play called 'Paradesia'
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy prides itself in developing children's confidence, self-esteem and communication skills. At the end of the year, the students act in a production for a public audience in a working theatre. This year the Lower Primary group acted in a play called 'Paradesia' at the Magnet Theatre. Their play was quite amazing and showed their over confidence for performance.
The Academy believes in providing children with many opportunities to be on stage and perform. The plays are so written that every child has a main part to play. We say that no child is ever just a tree! We believe in developing living and animated individuals and this play reflected this.
Well done to Dana, their wonderful teacher who really does tap into their natural abilities and brings out the best in each and every child.
