The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is so proud of its association with Glenbridge Special School in Cape Town. The programme has now been running two years at the school and there has been huge progress in these children's confidence and speaking ability.
Special needs children find drama a wonderful outlet and the children at Glenbridge cannot wait for their teachers, Heleen and Anastacia to arrive. The songs, movement, speech work and creative improvisations really bring out the best in all these children.
At the moment, the children are working on their end-of-year productions which is the highlight of the year. The children sing, dance and act on stage to their delighted parents.
