Children confidence shines through at the Baxter Theatre with Grade R from Square Hill and their performance of 'The Snake Charmer'
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy which runs its international drama programme at Square Hill Primary School in Retreat was extremely proud of the performances of these special young 6-year-old children. This spectacular play performed by the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy brought out the best of these children in clearly projected voices and brilliant acting.
The school invested in this programme to develop confidence, self-esteem and communication skills and the results were self-evident in their performances. Heleen van Eck, their teacher brought their play to life and gave these children the greatest gift which is confidence. Standing on stage, in front of 500 people with joy is a fantastic experience and these children will remember this for the rest of their lives.
