Helen O'Grady Drama Academy runs a 'A Crash Acting Course' for students at Westerford High School in Cape Town

This course was run by the Academy's Principal, Duncan Rice, and focused on acting for film and television. The students had great fun enacting Soapie style line delivery, naturalistic acting using the Augusto Boal method and exercising in developing characterisation and sensitivity. These young actors and Westerford School also learnt how voice is an important aspect for acting, and using actor's training techniques quickly understood how full body resonance can be used an effective tool for the voice.
