Macbeth Performed by the Grade 7 class at Sunlands Primary in Cape Town

Here you can our fantastic version of Macbeth performed by the children of Sunlands Primary to bring Shakespeare and acting skills alive. All our plays are being developed to teach a particular theatrical skill. The children in this play were learning how to act using neutral masks. The idea is that children use voice and gesture, rather than facial expression to create meaning and understanding on the stage.

We were very proud of these children's performances - they really brought one of Shakespeare's classics to life with excellent acting and using the clear communication and drama skills taught in the classes with our teachers.

Our congratulations go to Anastacia Isaacs for her wonderful interpretation of this play and the warm vibrant manner in which they performed. We are very lucky to have some inspired and dedicated teachers working for us in Cape Town.
