The after school drama classes at Sunlands Primary in Cape Town have started extremely well with a bumper class and very enthusiastic students.
The Academy runs its in-school and after school programme at the school providing a wonderful opportunity for children in development of confidence, self-esteem, communication and performance skills.
Here you can see the children doing some speech work with Anastacia. Speech work is a very very important part of the Academy. We teach children throughout Cape Town to speak clearly, teaching articulation, forward placing, jaw exercises and projection. A good speaking voice helps children to achieve future success.
Likewise the improvisation classes teach children to use their right brain of creativity as well as how to be spontaneous in communication.
