A fantastic start to our Newlands classes in Cape Town started this week with our fantastic teacher, Liandé. Happy Lower Primary children aged 5-8 started the day with speech work, movement communication skills and improvisation. Children went home happy after the first class.
Following this our Upper Primary children aged 9-12 showed how their great acting skills are really developing and performed a fantastic play devised through improvisation.
The advanced acting skills of the Youth Theatre really impressed the Principal of the Academy, Duncan Rice. Many of these students have acted in film, professional theatre and television.
