Fantastic Youth Theatre performance of Perpectives by the Fish Hoek Helen O'Grady Drama Academy at the Magnet Theatre in Cape Town
Students from the Fish Hoek Youth Theatre performed a magnificent 'Perspectives', a play about prejudice, using physical theatre. Directed by Scott Cooper, their teacher, this play really had the audience gripped on the ends of the seats. The young actors showed how they were able to use their bodies and voices to create the various complex dramatic contexts of this play.
The Fish Hoek drama classes are open to High School students in Fish Hoek and the surrounding areas. Many of these teenagers have been with the Academy for many years and we are so proud of their achievements.
