The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is a very exciting drama school because there are always new people popping in to see the students and work with them. This was no exception as the students had Alice visiting them from the UK. Alice is an actress and wanted to spend a couple of weeks working with the children of Cape Town. A big welcome to her.
Also we heard from one of our students, Diana, that Dexter Williams, one of our students is the narrator of the Peter Pan ballet at Artscape. And Amy Trout who is the lead woman in 'Kat and the Kings', Award-winning West End Musical, at the Fugard Theatre, written by Taliep Petersen and David Kramer was a former adult student at the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy. It is a fantastic show and worth seeing.
Also in the Youth Theatre class is Khatu, who has just finished a filming stint on the latest Spud movie.
All we can say is wow, wow wow! We have talented group of children and adults!
