Here you can a video link of Duncan Rice, Principal of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy, demonstrating how Drama in Education can really make a difference in the lives young children, developing confidence, good character, clear and articulate speech, excellent English-language skills and of course performance arts. Duncan was performing in front of Director Feng, China's leading film director, who recently made the film 'Aftershock' about the 1976 earthquake in China.
James and Diana Zhang, whose child was in this film realised there was no provision for drama in the curriculum in China and decided that they wanted to do something about it because they saw the huge benefits for their child just in the making of this epic film. This is way they have brought the Helen O'Grady Drama programme into China Likewise, Director Feng, also spoke to say that he would like his daughter to also experience this wonderful programme which always brings out the best in all children.
