The Helen O'Grady's play 'The Emperor and the Nightingale' is a marvellous play telling the story of the beautiful nightingale who sang in the court of the Emperor of China. Beautiful singing from the Bergvliet children made this a wonderful production. Directed by Angela Doidge, their drama teacher, children showed development in speech and confidence on the stage.
