Bergvliet Primary School is one of the schools in Cape Town where drama is a specific subject. In fact the School has been running drama classes for many years using the international method of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy, the world's largest drama school. The association with Bergvliet Primary is strong and the development of the children in this art form has been quite outstanding. Not only do the children learn performance arts but at the same time they are developing in confidence, self-esteem and communication skills.
