The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy, Cape Town's largest drama school, operates in Edgemead on Monday afternoons at the scout hall, which is next to the Edge Church, and Edgemead Pre-Primary School. Classes really took off this year with lots of new students. Drama is an important tool to teach confidence, self-esteem and communication skills. But of course taught through the medium of performance arts, young people quickly develop alert and creative minds.
