A new horror/comedic play written for the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy was performed at the Theatre in the District on Saturday. This play follows the lives of some really freaky creatures who are trying to dominate the world. The play lurches from comedy to horror and the actors brought out all aspects of their characters, showing the immense dramatic talent in Mitchell's Plain. Sue Wigham, their fantastic teacher, really worked hard with this group to achieve these excellent results. It is the aim of the Academy to challenge its youth theatre students so that they attain high levels of achievement and 'Twilight' had nothing on this group!
