The academy's teachers and curriculum develops articulate speech and the confidence to stand on the stage and give a presentation. At the end of the year the students get the opportunity to perform in a short play in front of a public audience. All students are award a certificate of completion of the course.
This year, led by their teacher, Sue Wigham, the students performed a period piece called 'The Kidnapping of Kitty O'Hara' about 1930s gangster land in New York. There characterisation was fantastic and a fitting end to their year.
