Under the expert direction of our wonderful teacher Christie, our Pinelands children have taken great strides in the confidence and communication abilities. The Academy runs classes for all children in the Pinelands and Thornton areas of Cape Town and these classes have always been fully subcribed. Following an international curriculum, the programme definitely develops excellent performance arts skills. So much so, that one of the boys, Khathu, recently starred alongside Sir Ian McKellen in 'Waiting for Godot' at the Fugard Theatre in Cape Town. Theatre acting is a particularly art, and the Academy develops natural child actors - these skills are really sort after by directors and film producers in Cape Town and around the rest of the world. The Academy's children belong to an international casting agency, Aardvark Casting, and are used frequently as the star performers around the world.
