The Grade 2 Production of 'The Chicken-Hearted' Fox was a wonderful play performed by the children from Star International School in Cape Town. The school plays a strong and important emphasis on developing the creative arts of young people. Schools nowadays should be offering children every opportunity to succeed in this fast-moving world, and this fantastic school has realised that drama is an essential part of the development of all school children. Drama develops creative thinking, communication skills and allows children many opportunities to learn how to socialise, and deal with issues such as conflict resolution. These essential skills enable children to fully participate in the world around them.
