The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy which is currently based at the Southfield Library will be moving to a fantastic new venue next week - the Plumstead Methodist Church Hall, which is in Brenda Road off Gabriel Road. Classes will continue at the same times on Wednesday. The new venue is near to the Ocean Basket and Timour Hall Primary School in Plumstead. This will be a great venue for our drama students as it has a large stage on which the students can perform.
The Academy runs three age groups - Lower Primary 5-8 year-olds, Upper Primary 9-12 years and our Youth Theatre Grade 7 - Grade 12 (13-18 years) The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy draws from children and young people from the surrounding area including Southfield, Diep River, Constantia, Tokai and Wynberg.
