Students from the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy based in Stellenbosch performed their annual productions at the Oude Libertas Theatre in the open air. It was a hot South African day and they really worked hard to project their voices on this large stage. Teacher, Jennifer Witts, was really proud of their performances. Parents were able to look around the Saturday Market while the students were rehearsing at the Oude Libertas. The Academy is now enrolling for drama classes in Stellenbosch in the new year. For many years now, the Academy based in Stellenbosch has been at the forefront of drama education. As a result, many students have been seen on television and in film. The students automatically can become members of the Academy's casting agency called Aardvark Casting: www.aardvarkcasting.com which has recently become an international casting agency.
