Excellent productions under the direction of Beatrice Pook, the teacher of the Hermanus drama school, were performed in November 2009. The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy aims to develop creativity, confidence and communication skills in young people. Students very quickly learn how to be adept in Presentation, Public Speaking and Performance skills, giving them the necessary skills to achieve life-long success. The Performance of the 'The Cleanest Town in Texas' was highly polished and showed the extensive talent within the Academy
