The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy based at St Peter's Church Hall in Hermanus recently performed Macbeth in the Overstrand Municipality Theatre. With special effects and excellent acting skills the students leapt from the mist to bring Shakespeare's work alive. The Academy believes strongly in teaching the students a new theatrical genre with every performance. This year the students were learning how to use their bodies and physical theatre, rather than facial expression, to communicate a message to the audience. It was most effective indeed and many people commented what an interesting creative journey this was.
