The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy, the world's leading drama school, in Durbanville, performed their annual productions at the Bellville Civic Centre Theatre. The Youth Theatre, of high school age, performed a version of Shakespeare's Macbeth, which wowed the audience. The Academy aims to make its youth programme highly educational, not only in the content that they study but also in the teaching of dramatic technique. This year the students were working on mask and physical theatre. Many of our students also attend our holiday programme. Our expert teachers develop the students in dance, singing and acting.
