Macbeth was performed in the Bellville Civic Centre to the great delight of the Northern Suburbs audience. The high school drama students brought Shakespeare's wonderful play to life with great enthusiasm, using mask as well as physical theatre techniques to make this a fantastic spectical. Students received their certificates for this internationally recognised performance arts course. Classes are now enrolling for January 2010. There will also be a December Holiday drama school operating in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town from the Bellville Civic Centre Theatre. Jennifer Witts, the teacher of this class will also be the drama specialist during the holiday stage school.
