Students of Portia Primary were transformed into residents of Abilene, the cleanest town in Texas, when they performed their end of year production at the Theatre in the District on Saturday the 10th of October. The town allows no drinking, swearing or fighting and its townspeople are content, if not a little bored. When a new visitor to the town arrives and starts shaking things up, the townsfolks decide to fight back. The students were fantastic in their portrayal of Abilene citizens with amazing Texan accents and wonderful, colourful costumes.
