Rehearsals have begun in full swing with our Worcester drama classes on Tuesday afternoons. Students in our Upper Primary are busy rehearsing a play set in Arabia many years ago. Our Academy aims to expose children to all forms of theatre from different parts of the world. It is an educational programme developing creative arts in young people so that they will be confident to face life's challenges and have a good understanding of the world in which we live. Youth Theatre students are able to act in plays from Shakespeare to Modern genre, giving them a wide rage of skills performance skills. By doing so, our youth theatre are also well prepared for their study of English literature at school and we always find that our students do well in their examinations as they understand, by acting, how plots are constructed and the themes are developed giving them a greater insight into the novels and plays.
