Star of Sea Convent School, in St James, near Kalk Bay, between Muizenberg and Fish Hoek, is one of our schools where we run the programme throughout the day. Our teachers, Tia van Greunen-Brady and Angela Lee-Wright, teach at the school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also run after school classes at the School on Thursdays. One of the strengths of this school is that it has a very strong drama tradition which has been developed over many years.
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy started running the drama programme at the start of last year, and we always have a wonderful time with these very expressive children. This school boasts one of the most beautiful settings in Cape Town overlooking the sea of False Bay. The students will perform their annual productions in September. What is wonderful about the Helen O'Grady programme is that everyone is a star in the end of year presentations.
