The reason why the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is Cape Town's and one of the world's largest drama schools, is the high quality of training that all our teachers receive. It is important that our drama teachers are fully aware of the latest trends in drama teaching as well as how to implement our international curriculum in the most dynamic way. 
Our students can go from age 5 - 18 without ever repeating a lesson, and many of our students stay for the full course, as every lesson is made to be dynamic and inspirational by our fantastic teachers. You can see them in action here performing various aspects of the curriculum under the direction of Glynis Kivedo, our vice principal, who has had many years of teaching and training in drama and performance arts. 
Our teachers learnt so much of this experience, which also allows our teachers to experience the classes from a child's perspective. 
We always encourage a warm, environment of positive reinforcement, where every child is made to feel special.
