Grade 6 at Bergvliet Primary School are in full swing for their productions in two weeks. This class will be performing the play called 'The Bold Buccaneers" and having visited on Tuesday, it is clear that it will be a fantastic production, with many wonderful accents and strong delivery of lines. The Academy's plays have been written so that all children have a main part to play and the students appear on the stage all the time.
Bergvliet Primary has a strong policy for developing an all round child, and drama plays an important part in giving young people the necessary skills to be confident, articulate and ready to face the challenges that life presents us. Having such a holistic appoach to education definitely makes this school stand out from the rest. When you meet the children at this school, you quickly understand that the school's philosophy works because they show kindness and consideration to others.
